We can now accept your entry fees through Paypal. This means you can pay online using your credit or debit card, which should make things easier for a lot of you.

Do I need to have a Paypal account to pay?

No. If you already have a Paypal account, you’ll be familiar with their payment system, however if you don’t have one don’t worry. You can just use your credit/debit card the same way that you would to buy things from any other website. Although of course there’s no harm in opening a Paypal acount if you want to, it’s free!

Can you see my credit card details?

No. Paying online with Paypal is completely secure. We’ll never get to see anything we shouldn’t. Paypal process your payment, take the money from you, then transfer it to us once the transaction is complete.

Sounds great, how do I go about paying then?

Once you’ve logged in to Simon’s FFL, you should see a ‘Pay Now’ button (down the right hand side, beside the News headlines and stuff). Clicking this link will take you to the secure payment page, where you can deposit the princely sum of £5.00 into the FFL coffers.

Are there other ways to pay my entry fee?

Of course. You can just hand the cash to Simon or Iain if you’d prefer. If you want to use a cheque or bank transfer, contact Simon for details.

I’ve already paid you, why do I still see the ‘Pay Now’ button when I’m logged in?

We’ll always know who’s paid and who hasn’t, but as it’s our first proper season using the website, FFL online isn’t an exact science just yet. So if you’ve paid through Paypal but it seems like we’re still asking for your cash, don’t worry. And at the end of the day, you’ll have an email receipt from Paypal. If on the other hand, you hand us a fiver in the pub one night, it might be a couple of days before we get round to ticking off your name on the website.
